I have been a painting instructor for Michael's and workshops at a couple local galleries. Additionally, I wrote lesson plans for Michaels painting instructors used nationwide. Recently I set these aside to care for my elderly mother. I now only paint portraiture on commission, which can be a lonely existance! I miss the kids most of all. "48 Hour Films - Detroit" is for the film making hobbyist and pros with a focus on fun!   If you want to write, cast, direct, act, operate equipment (cameras, sound, light), create music, post production edit, etc you came to the right place.   This group will make short films in the 4-15 minute range with a target production time of over a weekend (48 hours).  Meet ups will occur at least monthly.  We also have sub group meet-ups that are focused on specific areas of the craft such as acting, w …
