… This group meets a few times per month to do art/crafts/DIY projects together in a cafe or other public space. Everyone brings their own projects and together we create a "flash mob" of creativity. All types of art are welcome as long as they are portable. We also ask that you do not use the group for self-promotion or selling your items. The purpose is to get together and craft for the sake of crafting. In short -- let's do art in the company of others and get inspired!

Hi! Welcome! I'm Cindy. My daughter Chloe, LOVES LOVES LOVES ballet. Chloe is a bit girly, but by no means sits and paints nails all day. She is always either dancing around the house or busy with crafts and projects! Chloe actually thought of the ballet club idea after reading one of her many ballet chapter books. Since we are fairly new to the SF Bay Area, I thought this would be a great way to meet new friends and try out all that SF Bay has to offer! Every girl needs support, especi …
I started this group to bring together folks that love to create. The group is a place to learn about mosaics, create mosaics, and have a community to work alongside. This meetup is held in my indoor-outdoor studio space under a grove of palm trees. I have lots of supplies left over from projects and collected, but never used. Just come as you are and start to create a lasting piece of art! It is really fun to see a pile of broken pieces come together into a unique piece of art!
This group exists to create and admire art! It exists so that creative, passionate, and interesting women living in San Francisco (or thereabouts) can meet and inspire each other. It exists so we can get out and enjoy exhibits, shows and museums together. Join us if you're an artist or an art lover of any skill level. Join us to socialize and make new connections! Join us today, and start creating tomorrow!

Do you wish you were making more art, or even any art at all? Does your stomach turn inside out at the thought of a blank canvas? Or do you have a heck of a time completing a project? Do you find the artistic process at times absorbing and gratifying and at other times miserable and uncertain? Do you want to keep making art anyway? Would you like a bit of support from others who struggle with the same issues? This is not, I repeat, NOT a group for critiquing each other's work. This is a g …

This group is all about bringing your visions, dreams and goals into reality by using images, words and the art of collage. Plus a little glue. The purpose of this group is to provide a space for visual, right brain types to organize and express their wants, needs and desires in a way that makes sense. What's the difference between a snapshot, a commercial image and a Fine Art photograph? The answer, of course, is subjective and very much "in the eyes" (and minds) of the photographer and individuals viewing the work. This group will consider what makes photography rather unique among the Visual Arts. Light, composition, intent, and technique are a short list of topics we'll explore, both in the studio and on location. Take a look at our past and upcoming meetings and workshops, and consider jo …
Meetup to knit, crochet, doodle, what have you while sipping a beer or coffee. I hope that through this group I can learn about crafts/arts that I don't know much about. I have been part of a few knitting groups, but I always wondered about other crafts/hobbies that aren't as "popular." Hope to see you soon! This group is open to all ages, sexual and gender identities.
